I Focus on Good

I RELEASE THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS THAT NO LONGER SERVE ME.

The word “resentment” comes from the Old French word “sentir”, which means “to feel”, and the Latin “sentire”, which means “to feel or think”. When we are in the midst of resentment, we are re-feeling a disturbing or unpleasant experience from our past.

It’s OK to feel angry or upset. These are normal human emotions. However, if we continue to hang on to these feelings, we are resent-full (full of resentment) and this can be harmful both to ourselves and to those around us.

Unity’s 3rd Basic Principle is called the Law of Mind Action, and can be stated simply as “Thought + Feeling = Outcome”. What we consistently think about and charge with feeling is how we see and experience our world. Today, let’s practice focusing on the Good we desire to manifest in our lives, and release thoughts and feelings that no longer serve us.

Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” – Phillipians 4:8

I FOCUS ON THE GOOD THAT I DESIRE TO EXPERIENCE.
